The support by commercial partners like Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) is essential for the continued success of the business.  The Central Coast Academy of Sport has never taken for granted the commercial support the organisations receives and it is with great pleasure it announces the recent renewal of support by SCA taking the SCA sponsorship into the fourteenth year.

2GO and SEA FM are part of Australia’s largest and most progressive radio and regional television stations.  2GO was this region’s first commercial radio station and for over 40+ years been servicing the Central Coast.  SEA FM is like 2GO, community always comes first and it is this community focus that ensures SCA have re-aligned their support to the region’s most valuable sporting asset.

Ian Robilliard the CCAS Managing Director said of the partnership: “My thanks to Paul Wrigley and his staff for their continued support to the CCAS.  I have no doubt both organisations have aligned DNA, we are very focused on providing opportunities for this region and in our case for the many athletes, coaches and aligned services specific to the sports industry.  I can remember the very first day SCA supported the organisation back in November 2003, and to be honest over the years we have grown together, joined at the hip and were delighted to have such a supportive media partner in SCA.”

Paul Wrigley CEO of Southern Cross Austereo Central Coast said of the renewal; “We are very proud to be associated with an organisation that nurtures raw local Central Coast talent, and assists them to their full potential.  The Academy has changed so many young people’s lives. We appreciate what the Academy offers the Central Coast, and are proud to again be an enthusiastic partner”

SCA provides important media support and promotion of the many sporting programs and events operated by the Central Coast Academy of Sport.  The most recent initiative is the upcoming ClubsNSW Academy Games scheduled for the region between 7 – 9 April, 2017.  Over 900 athletes will descend on the Coast during this time and will compete across 9 sporting discipliners.  Athletes from the Central Coast are again expected to perform well at the games.  Listen to SCA for updates on performances at the games.
