Hammish is a current Head coach at representative level for the past two years with Gosford City Rebels and more recently as an assistant coach for the CCAS. In season 2018 Hammish was the Head Coach of the U12 Division 1 Rep team and he is heavily involved as a representative coach at Central Coast Grammar School. As a player Hammish is currently playing for the highly successful Central Coast Crusaders Youth Men’s Div 1 team.
His philosophy on coaching is built on a focus at the defensive end of the court where he believes games are won through effective defensive efforts and a willingness to work unconditionally as a team. His offensive philosophies reside around playing at pace whist remaining under control. As an emerging young coach he has much to offer the sport of basketball and a real asset for the CCAS Basketball program.
