Tim is currently serving as a key consultant for the Houston Rockets NBA team here in Australia. Tim has served as the Head Coach of the NSW under 20 men’s program for the last three years in the Australian National Tournament. Tim has had over 10 years experience in the Australian NBL uniquely as a player, coach and most recently as the Head of Basketball Operations with the Sydney Kings where he was responsible for the recruitment of arguably the highest profile NBA player in NBL history. During his Sydney Kings tenure Tim managed to secure an agreement of a first time ever NBA preseason game with the Denver Nuggets in Denver, recruited NBL MVP Candidate & All NBL 1st team player Julian Khazzouh along with 3 NBL Rookie of the Year players in Ben Madgen, Anatoly Bose and Angus Brandt. Outside of the NBL, Tim has passionately contributed to all levels of basketball in coaching both male and female teams in local associations, high school teams, university teams along with association representative teams in both NSW metro and country areas at both junior and senior levels. Tim is the Managing Director of start up company Swish Technics who focus on coaching, consultancy, equipment and events. Tim also is the client relations manager at Hudsons Global Logistics. Tim’s enjoys most working with Aboriginal communities along with coaching and mentoring less fortunate youth with physical, mental & financial challenges.
