JUNE 2022, The Central Coast Academy of Sport (CCAS) is delighted to announce a two-year platinum partnership with Mingara Recreation Club, a founding partner of the CCAS. Mingara is well known for their valued contribution to the quality of community life and the support provided by Mingara continues to be outstanding.  The Mingara Leisure Group (MLG) of clubs are all well aligned and it is no surprise that an ongoing partnership with the Central Coast Academy of Sport has been announced.

The MLG Group includes, Mingara Recreation Club, The Westport Club at Port Macquarie, Lantern Club at Roselands, The Greens at The Entrance and Springwood Sports Club at Springwood. Each of these facilities are so focused on community support it really isn’t surprising that Mingara remains so supportive of the CCAS.

Ian Robilliard OAM, the CCAS Managing Director, said of the platinum partnership: “I’m often heard saying that without Mingara the Central Coast Academy of Sport could not operate to the level we do.  Mingara is critical to the success of the Central Coast Academy of Sport and this renewal will bring Mingara’s support to twenty years.  When you reflect on that fact, a twenty year corporate partnership is simply outstanding, a true reflection of both organisations being extremely well aligned.  By December this year the CCAS will have provided over 4,400 scholarships and in a way Mingara has done the same, they have been alongside us since day one, that itself is extremely special. I can’t thank Phil Walker (Chair), Paul Barnett (Group CEO) and Daniel Pinkstone (General Manager Mingara Recreation Club) enough for all they do for the CCAS, it is very special.”

Daniel Pinkstone, the General Manager of Mingara Recreation Club, said of the renewal: “Our renewed partnership with Central Coast Academy of Sport continues to align with the Club’s vision to positively impact the local community.  We have continually supported CCAS because of the community service and outstanding quality of training and development they offer to local athletes.  The Academy provides the expertise and opportunities for athletes to train harder and dream bigger.  The positive impact of the development of sport and athletes in our local area directly contributes to the way make a significant contribution to the quality of community life.  We are extremely proud of our partnership with CCAS and congratulate the team on their ongoing success and look forward to our continued partnership.”

The Central Coast Academy of Sport would like to thank and acknowledge the support from the following Platinum Business Partners: NSW Government, Mingara Recreation Club, Central Coast Council, Greater Bank, The University of Newcastle, Southern Cross Austereo (HIT 101.3 and Triple M 107.7), Coast Sport, NBN Television, Oddball Marketing, Underwriting Agencies Australia (UAA) and Steadfast.
