Coast Sport to Add Expertise to Swim Program

APRIL the Central Coast Academy of Sport Mingara One Swimming Program is pleased to announce the specialist support by Coast Sport to the 2019 Program.

Coast Sport Physio and Sports Medicine Centre is a relatively young organisation with a vison to support athletes of the Central Coast, their commitment to building sustainable partnerships is very evident with this announcement of support to the CCAS Swim Program.

Coast Sport staff will assist Graeme Carroll and Stephen Critoph, the respective head coaches of the Swim program with expert advice and support in the sports science field.

Ian Robilliard the Managing Director of the Central Coast Academy of Sport said of the support offered by Coast Sport: “Coast Sport is an organisation making their influence felt in many sporting disciplines across the Coast, their staff are very committed to sport in our region and I’m delighted to have secured their support specific to the CCAS swim program.  Brett Doring has a great level of expertise in swimming having been associated with the Australian Swim Team and the Australian Paralympic Swim Team at the recent Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.  Brett’s level of knowledge will be important in providing content into this program.  All I can say is the staff at Coast Sport will provide another significant point of difference to this program and we are delighted to have secured their support”.

Brett Doring said of the CCAS Swim Program; “We’re excited to be involved with the restructured swim program. Our goal is to deliver value to the athletes by demonstrating measurable athletic and performance development through relevant testing, skill acquisition training, feedback and performance appraisal, practiced in training and executed at competition”.
