Central Coast Academy of Sport (CCAS) is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its athletes at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milano-Cortina.
Matt Graham delivered a standout performance, claiming a bronze medal in the Dual Moguls and adding another Olympic podium to his distinguished career. Abbey Willcox also showcased her talent on the world stage, reaching the finals in the Women’s Aerials to finish 10th. She was also part of Australia’s Mixed Team Aerials team, which secured a strong fourth-place finish.
CCAS also acknowledges the success of fellow athletes across the Regional Academies of Sport network at both the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Hunter Academy of Sport athlete Lauren Parker competed at the Winter Paralympics in Para Biathlon and Para Cross Country Skiing, placing 10th in the Para Biathlon. Parker also made history as the first Australian Paralympian to serve as flag bearer at both the Summer and Winter Paralympics.
Southern Sports Academy athletes Liana France and Josh Hanlon also represented Australia at the Winter Paralympics. France, aged just 16, made her Paralympic debut in para-alpine skiing, while Hanlon (pictured) competed in para-alpine sit skiing, recording top 10 finishes across multiple events.
These results reflect the strength of regional athlete development pathways and the continued success of academy athletes on the world stage. CCAS congratulates all athletes who represented Australia at the 2026 Winter Games.
