The Central Coast Academy of Sport (CCAS) is excited to announce the 2025 Athlete of the Year and Rising Star award recipients. These athletes have been recognised for their remarkable efforts, dedication and impressive performances across various sports programs.

These standout athletes will be invited to a formal awards evening in October where CCAS will announce its perpetual award winners, honouring the best of the best in the academy.

2025 Athlete of the Year and Rising Star Award Winners

    Aussie Rules Football – Supported by Gosford RSL

    Athlete of the Year: Scarlett Booth

    Rising Stars: Jedda Webb and Locke Englund

    Basketball – Supported by Basketball NSW, Central Coast Granite, and Central Coast Adventist School

    Boys:

    Athlete of the Year: Logan Tupaea

    Rising Star: Owen Howes and Mason Potestas

    Girls:

    Athlete of the Year: Grace Garwood 

    Rising Star: Molly Smith and Lara Tillott

    Future Stars – Supported by Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific

    Athlete of the Year: Jack Wighton

    Golf – Supported by JNGJ, Magenta Shores Golf and Country Club and Callaway

    Athlete of the Year: Ava Prince

    Rising Star: Kai Tower

    Hockey – supported by UAA, Hockey NSW and Central Coast Hockey

    Girls:

    Athlete of the Year: Beatrix Taylor

    Rising Star: Poppy Drennan

    Boys:

    Athlete of the Year: Lewis Gifford-Cock

    Rising Star: Gryffen Riddle

    Rising Star: Bailey Coxon
