ClubsNSW Basketball Applications Open

Applications are now open for the 2016-17 ClubsNSW Central Coast Academy of Sport Basketball program.

The ClubsNSW Basketball Program is one of the best on offer throughout the State with many athletes who have passed through this program gone onto State and Australian team selection.

The most recent high performing former athlete being Matt Kenyon who will grace the court’s this year for the Brisbane Bullets as he cemented his spot as an 18 year old in the top league of the country. The NBL is set to start on Thursday 6th October when Brisbane takes on defending Champions Perth at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

The program now part of an endorsed pathway with Basketball NSW offering local athletes with a pre elite training program with expert coaching to provide individual skill development and further competition opportunities that will assist them in their chances of state team selection and higher honours.

The 2016-17 ClubsNSW Basketball Program is scheduled to commence with trials on October 11th commencing at 5:30pm, with the program starting early November and will conclude with the staging of the 2017 ClubsNSW Academy Games.

Applications are currently open via the CCAS website and applicants are advised to register early to guarantee a place at the trail. The CCAS Office will be in touch with those who have applied the first week in October.
