The Central Coast Academy of Sport is delighted to announce the recent support by Gosford RSL to the CCAS Cycling Program. The CCAS Cycling program is a relatively young program with 2016 being the second year in operation.
Many highly talented Central Coast Cyclists are doing very well within the program and the future looks extremely bright with the support of another highly valued partner in Gosford RSL.
Gosford RSL does much to support community sport, and the recent partnership with the Central Coast Academy of Sport is another example of their commitment to supporting junior athletes in a local setting.
Central Coast Academy of Sport Athlete Services and Events Manager Emily Burgess-Moore said of the partnership: “it’s great news for our cycling program to now be in a position where additional funding can be channeled directly to the program and in turn to the athletes within the cycling program. While the program is relatively young, the results being obtained by the squad are really pleasing and I’m sure with additional financial support we will be able to do a lot more. It goes without saying but our thanks to Gosford RSL for talking this step in a highly competitive sports market, it will make a huge difference to our program and already we are designing a new cycling kit for participants within the program”.
