The Central Coast Academy of Sport (CCAS) is excited to announce the Greater Bank Netball program head coach, Jess Morgan.

Jess has a plethora of experience from coaching club level netball all the way through to premier league for Central Coast Heart, not only that but she has also had the experience of coaching some NSW representative teams and has been the Central Coast Academy of Sport Head Coach for numerous years.

The skills and experience that Jess has along with the team of coaches she has around her this year will be sure to add greater depth and versatility to the Netball program for 2022.

Jess said on her appointment “After two years of disruption to our CCAS netball program, I’m so keen to get back to work with our next group of athletes. The coaching team are beyond excited to put together an exciting and dynamic program like no other year. I can also reveal the inclusion of experienced guest coaches, athletes, mentors and strength and conditioning coaches who will work alongside us to provide an extensive and individualised program for each athlete. We cannot wait for the start of the program and look forward to seeing the calibre of netball talent we have on the Central Coast.”

Ian Robilliard OAM on Jess Morgan’s appointment “To have someone like Jess back as our head coach, dedicated to the sport of netball and focused on bettering not only herself but everyone around her is like finding a needle in a haystack. No one parallels Jess’s passion for netball and her commitment to not only improving CCAS athletes but herself too. Jess has not long completed a volunteered 10 weeks of child safety seminars that totalled more than 24 hours, she is close to completing her advanced coaching certificate all whilst at the same time being a full time HSC teacher. We look forward to seeing what this season brings with Jess leading the way”

The 2022 CCAS Greater Bank Netball squad will have the opportunity to compete at the Your Local Club Academy Games, held in Wagga Wagga in April 2022 and the Greater Bank Academy Challenge, which is planned for September 2022. Off the back of this announcement, the CCAS would also like to announce that the applications for the 2022 netball program will remain open until Friday 28th of January.
