Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) have announced their on-going support to the Central Coast Academy of Sport through a renewed platinum partnership agreement.  SCA will continue as a Platinum Partner of the CCAS and retain media exclusivity in the radio sector of the industry.

SCA through their two stations 107.7 2GO and 101.3 Sea FM have been associated with the CCAS when the organisation first came into being back in 2004.  SCA have been a valued partner every year the CCAS has operated.  SCA have very clear objectives in terms of community support and the support provided to the CCAS is further evidence of a business wanting to truly help a local not-for-profit entity.  The focus of the Academy of Sport is about developing better athletes and in turn better community citizens through the medium of sport and this isn’t possible without significant media support to the endeavours of the Central Coast Academy of Sport.

Ian Robilliard the CCAS Managing Director said of this renewed platinum partnership: “Southern Cross Austereo have not only supported us since day one, they have been a very strong and vocal advocate of our work and the influence we have in the sport sector of our region.  We have enjoyed and continue to enjoy a very robust business relationship with SCA and my very sincere thanks to Paul Wrigley, Kristen Budd the recently appointed General Manager and Shane Peak for their genuine interest in the work we do in the sports sector.  We are the voice of sport for our region and this isn’t possible without this level of assistance.”

Kristen Budd the General Manager at SCA said of the partnership: “We admire the work the Central Coast Academy of Sport does with developing athletes within our local communities and back their cause completely.  It is an honour to renew our longstanding partnership and we look to forward to supporting the next wave of successful athletes in our region.”
