It is often said the most important resource of any organisation is the staff that supports it.  The Central Coast Academy of Sport is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Tipple as the organisations Programs and Communications Coordinator, a position well suited to his skills, enthusiasm and abilities.

Tipple a qualified Physical Education teacher and keen touch footballer saw the opening at the Central Coast Academy of Sport as a perfect start point to a career in Sports Administration.

Mark Holton the CCAS Chairman said of his appointment; “When I met Mark during the interview process it was obvious that Mark has a genuine love of sport and that was most evident when the selection process was underway.  What struck me was the enthusiasm he has for sport and indeed his enthusiasm for the Central Coast Academy of Sport.  Mark will bring much needed support to a small and highly talented staff who do so much for sport and events in this region.  One could expect touch football to get a look in due to Mark’s strongly aligned interest in that sport, but on top of that, Mark will bring new sports to the CCAS offerings.  Mark will be charged with the responsibility of providing our coaches with a level of administrative support that will make their coaching more effective and allow them to concentrate fully on coaching and not the additional administration that often goes with it.”

Mark Tipple said of his appointment to the CCAS; “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work for the Central Coast Academy of Sport. I’ve admired what the Academy has achieved in the community with local athletes over the years, so to have the ability to add to that excites me.  Ian Robilliard (Managing Director) and Emily Burgess-Moore (Athletes Services and Events Coordinator) have years of knowledge and successful experience in sports administration, coaching and development between them, so I’m looking forward to learning as much as I can.”

Sporting organisations wanting to build regional capacity should reach out to Mark and assess what the Academy can do in terms of assisting sporting opportunities locally on the Central Coast.
