The Central Coast Academy of Sport (CCAS) is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2024/25 Aussie Rules Football and Basketball programs. These high-performance programs are designed to provide emerging athletes with expert coaching, skill development and pathway opportunities to further their sporting careers.

The CCAS programs aim to nurture local talent by providing athletes with access to top-level coaching, state-of-the-art facilities and tailored development plans. Participants will benefit from not only on-field or on-court training but also off-field education that covers key areas such as strength and conditioning, psychology, nutrition and injury prevention.

Aussie Rules Football Development:
This program is focused on developing the skills and tactical awareness of young Aussie Rules Football players. Through elite coaching, athletes will enhance their game knowledge, physical conditioning, and strategic understanding, preparing them for the next level of competition. Players will also receive exposure to talent scouts and pathway opportunities toward state and national teams. This program is proudly supported by Gosford RSL.

Basketball:
The Basketball Program aims to elevate the skills of aspiring basketball players through advanced coaching and high-level training sessions. The program is designed to refine athletes’ technical abilities, game IQ, and physical conditioning. Off-court workshops will also focus on areas such as teamwork, leadership, and personal development, all critical to excelling at higher levels of competition. The CCAS Basketball Program is proudly supported by Basketball NSW and Central Coast Granite.

Both programs will give athletes the tools and experience they need to reach their full potential, with the opportunity to progress into representative teams and beyond.

Eligibility & Application:
Nominations are open to male and female athletes in the appropriate age groups for both sports. Applications can be submitted via the Central Coast Academy of Sport website.
